Radio "Belarus"

Radio Belarus is a structural subdivision of the National State TV and Radio Company of the Republic of Belarus. Our call signs have been on the international air since May 11, 1962.

Initially, the programs were aired only in the Belarusian language. In 1985, broadcasting began in German, and in 1998 the radio was heard in Russian and English. In 2006, the radio began broadcasting in Polish. Since 2010, programs in French and Spanish have been aired, and since 2013 in Chinese. In 2017, the broadcasting in Arabic began.

The broadcasting grid of Radio Belarus today is round-the-clock broadcasting in nine languages, available at our website in real time, as well as through Express AM 8, Azerspace-1, Azerspace-2 satellites (see In here). In addition, Radio Belarus can be listened to in the border areas in the FM band:

• Svisloch - 104.4 MHz
• Geraneni - 99.9 MHz
• Braslav - 106.6 MHz
• Myadel - 102.0 MHz

In radio programs:
• news and information and analytical materials;
• radio meetings with state, political, public and religious figures; scientists, writers and musicians, masters of art and folk art, athletes;
• programs about the history, culture, spiritual values of the Belarusian people.

While showing various aspects of the life of the state, we try to pay attention to the ordinary everyday concerns of a Belarusian family, an ordinary citizen. The priority direction of music policy is the popularization of the best examples of folk, classical and modern Belarusian music.
