The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the murder of the leader of Hezbollah committed by Israel. Sergey Lavrov called the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrullah a political assassination. Speaking at the UN General Assembly, the Russian minister also called Israel's cell phone bombing attack on Lebanon inhumane and called for an investigation. He emphasized that the U.S. was aware of the preparation of Israel's device bombing attack in Lebanon.
Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Ministry, said:
“It is already impossible to remain silent about the numerous publications in the media, including in Europe and here in the United States, which indicate some kind of involvement and at least awareness on the part of Washington as far as the preparation of this terrorist attack is concerned. We understand that the Americans always deny everything and will do everything to obfuscate the facts that have emerged.”
Sergey Lavrov emphasized that the West continues to follow the course of hegemonism and escalation of confrontation, the consequences of which, if it is not stopped, can be felt by all.
